In the first 2 decades of the 21st century, Kenya expanded its geothermal power generation capacity to 531 MW. In July 2022, Olkaria V was inaugurated. At the same time, a sixth turbine was added to Olkaria I. This added 258 MW generation capacity to the country’s geothermal power.

While Kenya is ahead, it has really slowed down. Kenya used to be a global leader in the production of tea, coffee, pyrethrum and cut flowers amongst other produce. This is no longer the case. Add to this the perennial corruption scandals and poorly executed government projects, it is just a matter of time before the neighbours catch up and overtake us!

from what i have read,tanzania is focused on tanzanians collectively unlile kenya.
if anything,i wish the road from isiolo to mandera,isiolo to lodwar,isiolo to garissa,lamu be completed.atleast that is something small that can improve things kenyan.
