This issue needs to be highlighted even more. It’s daylight robbery.

What I want to know is why is the ‘Fuel Cost and Levies’ so high?

These thugs. SMH. We need competitors. And competent ones at that. Sio kama washenzi airtel/telcom vs safaricom

heri walipea safaricom wamanage their FTTH

Nilibuy tokens jana 11 pm mpaka sahii bado sijapata, ati system delay. Fuck this company.

Tano tena, number 1 and 2 are the main players, sisi kukamuliwa tu.

Lol. When Uhuruto’s propaganda boy posted rural electrification photos, I said it was a useless and misplaced priority if electricity isn’t affordable to those folks. Kama inalemea watu urban centres sembuse watu wako mashambani?

In February they had started the usual chorus of raising power bills saying the water levels in the seven forks dam was low and they were resorting to ‘expensive’ thermal power.
Well, after two months of heavy rains the dams must now be full but don’t hold your breath waiting them to announce lower bills now that they are generating more using hydro.
Shameless thieves.

Bila lube

Badala ya story mingi, sii watu wanunue solar?

Installation cost is the issue. A good solar system doesn’t come cheap.

It is true that installing one is not cheap. But guys can save slowly Im sure that even poor families can afford it with time.

Niliwaekea option ya solar hapa kitambo na power back-ups.Any way to each his own

sasa how does a competitor start juu power line zote accross the counrty ni kplc

I guess the gava can force KPLC to be split in to 2, with 1 company owning the infrastructure and the other to sell and distribute power.
The infrastructure company can then charge a fee for use of its resources to all the interested parties.

Na hiyo KPLC Mama ya Nanii ako na shares Million moja na upuzi juu, yani one point something.
That’s why Gichuru and his side kick Okemo aren’t heading anywhere anytime soon. I guess the two ate crumbles.

And who is the biggest single supplier? Cutting down functional wood poles to replace with concrete poles juu tender ni ya mtu fulani.
