Marks for a pupil should never be reduced to appease those who didnt do well, it’s psychologically damaging. The effect is same as sentencing to a jail term an innocent person.
Does it matter, that quota system they use to place kids into secondary school will still disadvantage the kids from private schools - then again I have never understood how a kid from makini school tries to get into a public school, kenyans are just stingy at times, if one can afford such why not just transition them to the makini secondary school or the kabaraks.
