Some of these safes are really tough. There is a safe in japan that survived the atomic bombing. The bank was later rebuilt around it

Auctioneers dnt carry anything locked this includes safes, filing cabinets etc. I highly doubt they can enter the back office.
Si they take whatever was collateral. I dont think they are mandated to take anything like thieves. Unless its something to do with rent.
