I mean, this fucker was the person who pushed for punitive taxes in the previous government. Now as the majority leader, instead of taking the side of the struggling mwananchi, he’s back engaging in a war of words with the opposition. Zero mwananchi-sensitive bills in parliament.
Even electricity that should actually be going down since it’s raining (we’re heavily dependent on hydro) has gone up! Counties have no monies and the head of the counties (Waiguru) is quiet like it’s business as usual. Now this problem has reached the civil service, who have always been the untouchables.
The big question should be where is the taxpayers money going? If you cannot fund the local government operations for a Kenyan who diligently pays taxes, why exactly should the person be paying taxes?
Why raise budgets for yourselves and your spouses and not give a damn about the people you should be serving?
