Wadau,
Mimi ni msee wa online writing. Nimechapa hii kazi miaka nane sasa. Sijawai ajiriwa.Inanilisha, family iko sawa, nimejinunulia kajalopy kutoka Japan, na najiendeleza kimaisha.
Sasa kuna thread nimesoma hapa watu wakidharau ati wale wasee wako U.S wanaosha akina MrsShosho. Ati hawafiki bei. Mwingine anadai ati hizi kazi za online hazilipi zaidi ya $2.
‘Ūrimū nī ta ūthūngu’ hivi ndivyo budangu husema.
Penda kazi yako na itakulipa. I sleep all day and work all night. Na pesa yake ni mzuri sana. Actually, I am debt-free. I can’t imagine being stuck in a mid-level management job nikilipwa 120k. Tax, na madeni za Tala na kajalopy loan zinachota ka60k. Na bado sijanunua suti na nichange kwa burial na weddings juu na’heshimika’.
Wadau, colonization is all in the mind. Free up yourselves.
We all want the same things in life, so the destination is the same, but the routes each of us take are different. Some are lucky to use shortcuts, others not so lucky as they have to use long winded routes with multiple connection points. If you are one of the lucky ones don’t sneer at others, just thank your maker.
On a month inakupea ngapi? Might be good but wengine wanaona pension, medical, career advancement etc. Hii though ni poa say ypou earn 100k per month hauezi compare na some suit with the same amount juu ako na pension, medical etc. Akigonjeka 1 month bado atalipwa na wewe hauezi. Just saying. Sustainability.
What i know is that all of us cannot fit in the same bucket. Imagine if we all shunned formal employment and decided to go fiashara way. Who would teach your kids? Who would treat you in the hospital? Who would take care of national security and external defence? Who would work in the water, electricity and such sectors? Now you get my point. Mûndû ahînjio nî make!
The need to constantly justify what you do by comparing it to what others do is self defeating. As long as you’re comfortable and happy, keep doing what you’re doing
This is very true. A society cant really exist without people doing different things. Do what you do if you are comfortable and ok with it like @Sylos says.
My point is: Whatever you do, love it, respect it, and do it well. Hii maneno ya kujiskia ati uko na kazi mzuri na wengine hawajielewi ndio inafanya watu wakuwe enslaved for years. One reason people don’t understand is you are better off with 100k cash now than 70k now and the rest tied as pension redeemable in 30 years. Time value of money.
I agree with you on most stuff, lakini ambia watu ukweli. I did writing for a long time and perfected the art and even became an employer to some graduate students as I introduced them to it. Hiyo kazi iko na stress si haba and it’s security is not in you hands. (I don’t mean you have control over security in other jobs, but still).
See this -
1 - unadunga waks get a revision at odd hours, the owner perhaps a rogue student pretends not to like it after ‘stealing’ your ideas on how to go about the assignment and order gets cancelled. You lose time and money.
2 - slight blunder account is closed you end up jobless assuming you had a single account
3 - job is seasonal.
4 - let no one lie to you anybody can crack this job and make a decent living like you do.
Word of advice - you need not to feel obliged to justify what you do for a living. Just be you and do you.
