A few weeks ago I hired a shiny eyed ferro to handle some job for me, as expected he came to the site with a couple of side kicks- watu wa mkono, dim eyed orangutans. The orongutans have been doing an exceptional job, they are fantastic chaps to hang out with, ukichanganya bangi ya western na ya Gusii na ya jaruo you can imagine the coctail of humour and bullshit… The guy handling the tender is your typical shiny eyed ferro, light skinned, skinny chap reeking cheap liquor and smoking like a chimney but very good at what he does. Because this are hard working guys who do their job extremely well, plus they have young families, so I told them kesho nkimskumia the last five k they’ll be the first to know…Jana the guys came very early and started their job, the shiny eyed hovering behind them throwing orders around while calculating his next trick, But as they say mjinga akierefuka mwerefu you mashakani, at the end of the day, I signalled the orongutans nikawambia nishaskumia hii ngamia pesa kwa mpesa, nanikajitoa mos mos, before I reached the gate nikaskia twaf! Bare inalia kutoka first floor naiskia kwa gate, later when I came back hii ngamia was hanging upside down from the building, usicheze na bangi ya nyamira, I could see kidole zimezigzag mashafu, mabare za mkisii hapana mcheso! the guy’s relatives in karatina had to hold an impromptu harambee for the guy to be allowed to walk out of that building alive,the guy was held hostage up to almost 11 p.m. Apparently all the cash I have been paying him alipe watu wake yote immeishia kwa phobe
