Former Vice President and Cord co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has warned IEBC against striking
Bungoma senator Moses
Wetang’ula’s name out of the voter register.
“I dare IEBC to delete Wetang’ula
from the voter register. It is against his constitutional rights and we will not accept it because he has not been declared guilty so far and the law should be followed to the latter,” said Kalonzo.
He warned that if IEBC struck
Wetang’ula’s name, it will lead to
national chaos like the one
witnessed during the 2007-2008
Post-Election-Violence. Kalonzo added that the woes behind
Wetang’ula are caused by the Jubilee government who are afraid of Cord taking over the government in the coming elections.
“We know all this plan are being
orchestrated by the Jubilee
government who are afraid that Cord is intact and ready to move this country forward after it has failed to lead the nation,” said Kalonzo
