He has appealed the impeachment and so is free to run. Also he can decide to throw his 10m votes behind kalonzo. So Gachagua will be the biggest factor in 2027 by either being The6th or the king maker.

Unless the appeal overturns the impeachment, he is ineligible to run. I can almost bet the appeal will not be successful.
I am also not sure if Gachagua has the entire 10m voted of Mt. Kenya. The people in the system like Ichungwa will have some say, plus the incumbent will use Murima’s weakness, love of money, to divide the block.

It is not brainwashing or emotions. People want change. They want less taxes, more jobs, better economy, better health and education, no more killings of young people etc. In 2022 they voted against Uhuru and his candidate because they believed Uhuru had messed the economy and believed uhuru’s candidate would have continued with the mess. So it has nothing with being brainwashed or emotions, its all about interests.

No..Kikuyus didn’t vote for Ruto coz they wanted change..They voted with emotions..Azimio had the best and realistic manifesto.. People were voting "thuti "provided uko UDA and anti Raila/Uhuru ..That’s why most UDA leaders from central currently holding seats are dimwits .Even Gachagua admitted that quality of leaders from central is wanting(

They believed him then. Walisema he knows what suffering is unlike the dynasties because hasora came from a poor background mpaka anauza kuku kwa barabara so he had the capacity and zeal to transform kenya to make it better for everyone. They believed raira was part of the pampered aloof dynasties with no solution and mwaura the kikuyu candidate didnt have the capacity and that wajakoya head was full of bangi. So the best candidate then was kathiongo and that is why they voted for him.
