How much will it cost to maintain the second/third hand brand new for the first fives years plus the resale value of that car after five years?
Bro, ex-japan cars are of high quality especially if you get the ones with a high inspection grade. These cars are inspected uko before shipping.
Furthermore, its a known fact that Jap cars tend to be trouble-free as long as you do proper fluid changes which you will also need to do on the new car. Skia mzito Scottie Kilmer pale youtube akisema he routinely sees Jap cars with 400,000-500,000 miles on the speedometer that are still going strong with the engine still original and the transmission still shifts like a dream
I have owned jap cars and so have my bros. So I can tell you from experience these cars require very little maintenance. Most times ni vitu kama bushes, rack ends and ball joints which you do like once every couple of years (unless you drive it on murram roads constantly which will also wear out a new car) whether your car is new or second hand and these are generally cheap.
When you talk of resale, as a buyer, would you rather buy a car thats been used on kenyan roads for 5 years or one thats been used on japanese roads for 5 years or even 8 years and its been properly graded to give you an idea of its state? If you are entering second hand market after five years, the value of that vitz will plummet to be able to compete with ex-japan ones.
Vitu kama resale value should mostly be considered by guys who buy second hand and not new. You may buy a vitz for 600k second hand then sell for 450k or 400 after a couple of years. That new vitz will need to compete with second hand jap ones of the same age costing like 600k. Si value yake itadrop sana from 2 mil?
Hapa kuna Rav4,Subaru Forester mpya…and many other better vehicles for less than the amount quoted
New RAV4s and foresters go for 5m.
selling corolla at 4m is daylight robbery. That car starts at $16000 in countries that sell them new.
Hapa kenya 1.6m is a 8yr old premio jalopy with 150k km from japan.
You have explained a lot of nonsense
