State’s continued blame on Uhuru, Raila irritating
Former Mukurweini MP Kabando wa Kabando now wants the Kenya Kwanza regime to stop blaming retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga for their failures.
He said the government’s continued blame on the two leaders is irritating.
He reminded the head of state that he was Uhuru’s deputy and Raila in opposition when most scandals that contributed to the current situation occurred.
“UDA’s continued blame on UhuRao for all its misses is sickening irritation. Kibaki didn’t blame Moi. He hit the road running to correct mistakes; no whining,” Kabando said.
“The first five years was UhuRuto, which had NYS, Galana Kulalu, Eurobond, and Angloleasing scams. Ruto was in. Raila was outside.”
He said during the first term of Uhuru’s presidency, the same UDA leaders who are blaming Uhuru are the ones who fought those who tried to speak against the scandals.
The former legislator said Ruto should shift his focus to delivering on the Kenya Kwanza plan because businesses are bleeding and Kenyans are hurting.
“When 2013-17 we spoke against UhuRuto scandals, we were fought by some of these UDA guys whining daily, for they were blue-eyed “skyteam.” Rais Ruto should focus on delivering the Kenya Kwanza manifesto. Hustlers are restless. Honeymoon is over!”
