Jubilee vs the church :Round 2

It is soon going to be illegal to ask for offerings or donations on air. Preachers have also been banned from recruiting people to their faiths or asking them to get ‘saved’ as they often
do at the tail-end of their broadcasts.
These, among other rules, are contained in the Programming Code for Free-to-Air Radio and Television
Services in Kenya, published by the Communication Authority of Kenya.
Media houses have 6 months to be fully compliant.

This is religious persecution yet our Constitution supposedly protects freedom of religion?! After Kanyari’s exposure by Mohammed of Jicho Pevu, what did we expect? Moreover, not all TV pastors are fraudulent. This new rule stinks of Sharia Law. I weep for my country. We have a president that caters to all the whims and sensitivities of Muslims while disregarding the huge native population that are Protestant. In Lamu the other day, he was photographed wearing disgusting, abominable Islamic attire in order to appease them. Excuse me?! Hasn’t he read the Qu’ran, Sunna, Hadith with its hateful ideology? You would think that a rational government response to thwart purveyors of terror would be first, to shut down the places where this terror is being manufactured ie the mosques. Who are these “seed pastors” harming except from gullible folk who have a right to do whatever they want with their hard earned money? The greatest religious threat to our existence is Islam, not Kanyaris. I would advise the president to stop letting the fox into the chicken house. He should ban the construction of new mosques and monitor all existing ones. Better still, outlaw the entire religion. Fellow Protestants, welcome to your new status as dhimmis, second class citizens living under the Sharia Law in our new Islamic caliphate, Kenya. Utterly disgusting!

Why? I think its good that they are trying to protect people from dodgy pastors and prophets.

If the govt had done this earlier they’d probably have saved you.

The government can’t save you; only God, who is The Lord Jesus Christ.

The one about not telling viewers to get saved.Thats if this story is true.

What’s wrong with making an altar call for lost souls? This president is a huge disgrace not only on the economic front…Now he has failed to uphold the Constitution, which guarantees freedom of religion. How does he think he can get away with this? This is religious persecution no doubt about that, a sign of the end times. Lord Jesus, come quickly!

What will jesus do whip Uhuru?

I dont believe that is the full story. I think its the banning of asking people to send in money/plant a seed over the air that is being curtailed. The pastors ask this as a sign of your commitment to getting “saved”. This is what they are trying to stop. If the preachers can make alter calls and whatever without calls for money, then things should be fine. If you want to go to the church and give money as a tithe or donation then that is something seperate.

We know very well that the so called salvation is a way of recruiting new followers. You go to a new church and all they want to hear from you is that you are not saved, because once yiu get saved there, they have won another follower. The only true preachers are the one who tells you to repeat a prayer and ask you to any bible based church of your choice.
As for sadaka there is nothing to debate about it, it should be totally banned kwa tv and redio

No. Pastors have been banned from making altar calls, period.
Mark my words this is a well calculated move by Islamists in Kenya to dilute Christianity’s influence.
This gospel of Christ shall be preached as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14.

i didnt know we had republican rednecks in Kenya. Why Islamists? why not the hindu or satanists or atheists?

I have tried to shed light on the dangers of Islam ad nauseaum…Islam is like an insidious cancer that is masked by innocent symptoms in the early stage, but at the end brutally cannibalizes its host.

NAPENDA Saaana especially hio ya watershed adult content. Juzi am busy looking out for a channel to watch then i bump into one showing “i spit on your grave 3” …usitake jua hakukua na censoring hata ya @uwesmanyee akikatwa makei juu ya ku molest lichoti… @Jirani kuja hapa

Religion did not invent a fool. A fool invented religion. How can you talk about upholding the constitution and its freedom of worship while in the same breath you talk about closing all mosques and banning islam. You are a disgrace to the president and to your god.

Nazism and Hitler’s autobiography, the Mein Kampf was once upon a time the law of the land, resulting in the deaths of millions. Today, there are stipulated laws against this hateful ideology. The Islamic Trilogy (Qu’ran, Sunna, Hadith) has 7x more verses about Jewish hatred than the Mein Kampf. Excuse me for making the most logical and rational leap of thought that the Islamic “religion” should suffer the same fate as Nazism.
