God bless chinaman. What jubilee need is to allow at least 4 million Chinese into Kenya (>=5% of population) with permanent residence and we start seeing some positive change happening.
The Chinese really deliver. I would even support giving KQ to a chinese firm to manage for 2 years.
I guess chinese companies investing in Africa usually have a lot of pressure from their government to protect their nation’s reputation especially since there is a modern Cradle for Africa so that is why the deliver in most cases. Or it may be because of the high population and economic growth in their country they are used to intense competition
For real under the new Constitution which allows for dual citizenship. Any foreign investor only needs to invest $100,000 to get a dual citizenship. Only the Director of Immigration can authorize it and apart from funds, the investor will fill several forms of full disclosure with supporting documents from home country. This forms will be verified by NIS and recommendations made to the Director. Only then will the dual citizenship be granted. So it possible.
So now we will import investors and give the citizenship. Our mbirrionaires vichwa mawe sana. I see them joining hands to buy land and build but hawawezi invest in such. A transformer is a straightforward gadget yet they can’t manufacture. Industrialization hatuoni haraka till this doomed generation yao passes away
$100000 threshold is too low, it will only allow foreigners with 8 % interest loans and credit lines to compete unfairly with the jua kali sector with zero credit and high interest loans. What we need is investors to come in with minimum $5,000,000.
