Jubilee Government transformative projects in the energy sector

The Jubilee government has in the last 4 years undertaken transformative projects in the energy sector.
When Jubilee Gvnt took over in 2013 the installed capacity of 1,664MW was considered insufficient to spur economic growth. GoK determined we needed an additional 5,000MW and @EnergyMinK launched the “Roadmap for Fast Tracking Power Generation" Since Jubilee Government took over in 2013, 2.6 Million new homes have been connected to power. The LPG Uptake Promotion is a project aimed at increasing penetration of LPG to low income population in the country.
