Still doesn’t justify colossal amount allocated to this project

Good stuff. However you need to look into what is happening in laikipia because we need tourists coming and ride in these trains.

the stations look better than the rendering. Just perfect!!

OK.

Some of these stations rival many that we see in Europe.

Your updates always draw the ‘this money could have bought 40,000 bags of maize’ reactions.

What I know is that post WWII Europe, under the Marshall Plan, underwent infrastructural developments of a scale previously unknown, while society still had millions of poor people whose lives had been ravaged by the war. Thanks to the ambitious investments, those millions found jobs, got educated, traveled and grew into the advanced economies they are today.

We cannot progress if we decide to spend all our energy and funds on filling today’s bellies.

Laikipia issues needs to be highlighted

This is some good shit. Really good shit.
@spear I don’t mean to derail your thread, but I haven’t been able to access ecitizen since morning. Mbona birrionaires tunahujumiwa? Could you find out what’s happening, ama ni mimi tu? Kama thirikari haijalipa hosting fee ya huu mwezi naeza jitolea.

the floors on staff houses are awesome… you can imagine that in your sitting room

On e-citizen everyone is trying to update driving license, licences, taxes at the same time. Try at night.

Safi…alucobond seems like the new alternative building material, local suppliers would have made a killing on those projects.

Any plans of re routing away from kibra juu naona kuna watu negative just for kicks wanapinga chochote ata wanaweza jipinga wenyewe na kazi ni kuharibu mali ya wenyewe

Safi sana, my only fear is that it’s too modern for the average Kenyan used to dilapidated infrastructure and not forgetting it will be a target for the well known stone throwers come August 2017

government should try and put reliable city trains… apana za kutoka asubuhi na jioni pekee

:eek::eek: please tell me you don’t have children…

I just want these trains to start working, may be I will travel to coast and back on the same day if their schedules will allow

Kuja polepole mujamaa

From Nairobi South station it goes to Rongai hapo Nazarene University then it will either go across the national park through the super tall bridge or the cheaper option of a tunnel below. Ngong area to Ngong super tunnel to emerge the other side of RV and onwards to Olkaria Naivasha-Narok-Bomet-Kisumu-Bondo-Malaba. It’s skipping Nairobi and it’s expensive land issues.
