Yes same project but Phase 3.

Phase 1 - JKIA to Likoni Road

Phase 2 - Likoni road overpass upto ABC Place westlands.

Phase 1-2 awarded to CCCC by PPP. They will finance, build and operate the overpass road into a toll road where you pay to cruise direct to CBD or Westlands. They will upgrade the current lower road and it will still remain free to use.

Phase 3 - ABC place to Rironi. Awarded to China Wu Yi. On schedule and ongoing. It remains free to use.

Basically the while road from JKIA to Rironi will be upgraded and free. However for those in a hurry and want to cruise you will join an intersection at Likoni road, pay by Mpesa and join the overpass above to cruise direct to Westlands or CBD. The design works are ongoing. Government wouldn’t pay a cent.
