Kshs 20 billion built by China Wu Yi. The interchange will be decided by KeNHa after meeting both CCCC and China Wu Yi. That’s the point where both contractors meet at their respective projects. At ABC place the elevated road might start there up to westlands where an underpass up to Nyayo stadium might be built. Its my speculation but I know CCCC 51 billion Nairobi express road funded by them will include a free dual public road upgrade and an express tolled 3 lane road highway. It might seem complicated but to then its very simple and its something they have perfected to build for decades now.

No. However CCCC said clearly, the designs are complete, bill of quantities done and now its just getting the various regulatory approvals from KeNHA, Nema and public participation before works starts in Dec 2019. They actually stated its an overpass and underpass is sections. The current free dual road will be upgraded while an three lane express tolled road will built. Even the useless BRT corridor will be done, though I would have preferred a commuter train. All for 51 billion of their own money. Let it be built, at least all their profit margin from SGR build is invested here.
