I thought its now safaricom stadium and are responsible for its maintainance?
But i could be wrong anyway

What about the aquatic ??

Its due for renovations as well, right now government focus was to successfully renovate Kasarani main stadium for Under 18 IAAF world Athletic Championship. From the new blue truck in the stadium, warm up track outside the stadium, Athletic village in KU , new stadium big screen, Media Centre and all facilities within the stadium. All Safaricom paintwork was also removed as IAAF doesn’t other sponsor brands that aren’t signed up by them.

Give credit where it’s due, good work. Hope we maintain it’s current status, si majamaa wakienda choo wanaanza kuchora ukuta.

Was the road behind the stadium repaired? The one exiting on Mwiki road?

nimepitia hapo leo nimeona waki recarpet

I have fond memories of the aquatic center. Used to go there on a daily basis after fourth form back in 96’. Then I could do a couple lengths across the Olympic pool… Sijui kama leo nawesmake.
