The construction of the first cruise ship terminal at the Port of Mombasa is set for completion mid-next year.
Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) managing director Catherine Mturi said works on the external parts of the cruise facility are complete.
She added that works on the interior parts of the terminal were underway, saying the project is expected to be completed by June 2018.
I can’t wait to see the final product. I like the render.
I like the “let actions speak” approach.
@Deorro I noticed that you can’t view subforums on the main page. How can you make that possible because a post such as this would have been in 001 county subforum.
@pseudonym get out your Birkin, next yr we going on a cruise
Are you really a @Useless Spectator
Na hizo threads za Jubilee development Turkana ziwekwe wapi?
I hope Captain phillips will be on board because hapa tu naona Somali pirates wakitushika.
There is a turkana county development subforum. Maanze @morty tuumbo spent the better part of an afternoon creating those things, it would be a shame if it was not utilised. @Meria Mata
If our nappy seal behaves i can get him onboard
@MortyTuumbo is a bot. He did not tire a bit. Aliunda zote once
I think he is a kenyan based in UG or something. Will check archives but had posted something alluding to that. Kama ni bot meffi yeye.
I’m not a bot. Bure
Where are the photos for the terminal.

Interesting thought…:D:D:D:D:D:D
Ebu atuambie.
No need, I am on watch list from the KPMG guy, so I will simply keep a low profile.
Wasnt that a movie?
Based on a true story but hollywood reworked it to glorify the captains part.
mtu wa dredi unadhani birkin ni bikini?
What’ the use of such an investment yet tourists are shying away from us and heading to Tanzania and other Africans countries??
The only thing left to see in kenya is people throwing stones and protesting and politacal and tribal theatrics .
This comment reminds me of the another comment complaining that we have no modern terminal to serve cruise tourists when the ship docks. The best we could do was traditional dances welcome.
Infrastructure projects don’t get built on such shortsightedness. Three cruise ships based in Dubai want to make schedule stops in Mombasa on its Indian ocean cruise but they are head back due to the lack of modern terminal in Kilindini and the region. Imagine three ships every month with 1000’s of tourists with spending $$$$. Its long overdue.
