Somebody put this dog on a leash.

Meanwhile,Ruto lied.

West Pokot residents are disappointed that the Jubilee administration is “peddling lies” about projects in the county.

Those who spoke to the Star said they were not aware and have not seen the stadium Deputy President William Ruto said is under construction.

Ruto said on Monday that the government is setting up a stadiums in various places.

“As we talk today, I know many people are saying we made pre-election promises in 2013 that we have not actualised,” he said.

“But in six months’ time, the stadium in Wote will be complete, in three month’s time the stadium in Chuka will be complete, in three month’s time the stadium in Moyale will be complete and in six month’s time the stadium in Kamariny, West Pokot, will be complete.”

But the people criticised him saying it is unethical for Jubilee Party leaders to use “ghost projects” to obtain votes.

They demanded to know the location of this project saying there is no such construction in Kamariny village.

Pokot South MP David Pkosing laughed at Ruto’s remarks saying the said Kamariny stadium is being constructed in Elgeyo Marakwet county. He said the Deputy President had a slip of the tongue.

Lelan resident Pilot Powon said: “Kamariny stadium is 2kms from iten town in Elgeyo Marakwet county. I have trained in that stadium so let us not be deceived."

Abu Siawanyang wondered why the government has taken four years to complete Makutano stadium and wondered if it’s the one being referred to as Kamariny stadium.

“Is Makutano stadium being constructed by the county government or the national government? We want to know," he added. “This might be one of the big scandals of this government. The DP knows West Pokot and Elgeyo Marakwet very well. We don’t expect him to confuse the two regions.”

But tesident Kachuu Mcepaa said those claiming the project is not taking place in West Pokot have a negative perception of the ruling coalition.

Senator John Lonyangapuo said some of Jubilee’s achievements and promises are far fetched.

“Look at the grand Kamariny stadium, purported to have been built already in Kamariny village, Siyoi ward in Kapenguria constituency, West Pokot. I was there yesterday and nothing like that exists.”

Lonyangapuo added that the Kanu team is supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election yet has not requested to add to the manifesto launched on Monday.

“We hope after elections we will thoroughly review it and start with quick wins. Overall, it is more realistic than the one of 2013-2017.”

You all missed the big point. If you listened attentively you have noted that he counted 9,nine stadiums in various stages of completion. The Njumbilii 2013 wish list or if you like manifesto, had talked of five stadiums.
Can you not see how magnanimous they are…promised 5 they then give you 9. Even in places ngungu can not locate…

Hi story niliona earlier on…naskia hakuna stadium na ule jama wakipindupindi alikua ame chocha wakenya ati kuna world class stadia uko

Rivals square off at Jubilee manifesto launch
It was not clear what an independent candidate seeking the Eastleigh MCA seat was doing at the Jubilee manifesto launch at Kasarani Stadium on Monday.

However, Jamal Ali met his rival Nickson Juma of Jubilee and the situation threatened to get out of hand.
