NAIROBI, KENYA, February 26th, 2018 - The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) with the support of the Government of Spain embarked on the construction of the Nginyang Bridge, located in Baringo County in 2016. The Bridge is being constructed by Centunion, S.A., a Spanish Engineering Company.
Further, KeNHA is currently procuring the construction of four other bridges along the Loruk - Barpelo (B17) Road which cuts across Nakuru, Baringo and West Pokot Counties.
The superstructure of these bridges along with that of the Mbita Bridge in Homa Bay County was facilitated through an official development loan of the Government of Spain in 2016.
Once complete, the bridges will offer an alternative route to the North from Nakuru and enhance safety along the Loruk – Barpelo Road.
