I had a Infinix Hot 8 Lite with Android v9 that I could call and SMS using Faiba 4G. Then I upgraded to a Nokia 3.4 with Android v10 that for some reason doesn’t support VoLTE for Faiba 4G? My associate now comes with his Samsung A23 with Android v12 that also doesn’t support VoLTE. We can’t even use USSD b/c it’s still using SMS tech.
What bothers us is that the Infinix only supports Band 3 but our devices support both Band 3 and 28, their legacy network band. It’s like, upgrading is downgrading. I keep on shitting on Transion Holdings’ smartphones but WTF???
