Yes, for countries that depend on one commodity as a major source of export, the currency always takes a hit whenever the price of that commodity reduces. Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, Angola, Sudan & S. Sudan all took big hits
I mean the local currency cedi was changed and this created inflation in the economy. That was even before international oil prices fluctuated.
