Job Tenders and other Related Works

Hello Villagers,

I have seen people succeed from this forum while others are discouraged, but every one has his own opinions and thus you are welcome to offer any on the this thread.

I have an IT Business name that is registered but NOT a VAT compliant. That’s a step back I know but still can operate or open a bank account with.

My question or request here is where can I get those Tenders to work with or minor IT jobs. I need to start somewhere and that’s where I wonna know how to start it. Your opinions are highly appreciated.

TIA

Get your business name 100% compliant before you start looking for tenders, otherwise you will be disqualified at stage 0. Like why arent you registered for VAT yet it is free? na uko na PIN? Plus get a TCC.

Following closely.

If you make less than 5m a year, you need to register for turnover tax (TOT). You only pay 3% of your annual revenues - as long as it is less than 5m.
You won’t need to pay profit taxes.
Anything above 5m will require VAT registration.
Of course, kama si limited company, you’re responsible for your own personal income tax at prescribed KRA rates. Look them up.
After that, try get the TCC. That is the key to all tenders.

If you are below 35, get an AGPO certificate. Then visit the AGPO facebook page for updates on reserved tenders

YAGPO. Alafu ensure you are prequalified after you got all the documentation.
