Hey guys. Help a nigga out.
I am to have an aptitude test later this week with a top firm in the country. At the same time I am to sit for a very important exam paper. (my lecturer is often out of the country, getting a make up will take me an year. Yes I have tried that option) I however have a small window since there is an hour break between the scheduled ‘start time’ the two occurences. My question dear listers, who knows ujanja wa hizi tests. I need to do the 3hr test (apparently) in 45mins. What are my chances ama najienjoy tu?
Ask the “top firm in the country” if you can delay their test by a day. I’m sure they will understand given your reason. If not, you’re shit out of luck.
Terry to get the company’s test rescheduled, if they like your CV enough they will agree
Kama venye @shocks Na Mundu wa fangi wamesema.
Na hapa hakuna listers.
go to the firm try your luck.
wait for make up next year…
You know the story of the fisi that tried to take two paths. Reschedule the interview. Wakikataa show them your bare backside.
Apo unajienjoy 3hr tesr in 45 minutes kwani ni ya usiu
Request them to reschedule if they decline get that make up later coz who knows when you will get another opportunity like this
You will fail miserably in that aptitude test. Those tests are designed to see your reasoning capacity within a stipulated time period. So kama mumepewa 3 hours, believe you me you will not be able to finish that test in that time. And usually have 3 parts, arithmetics, command of language and general questions. Most likely your 3 hours will elapse bado ukiwa arithmetics. My advice, enda aptitude, these chances are rare.
Safaricom are very understanding. Ask them to reschedule
Aptitude huwa ni ya watu wengi juu huwa ni za job entry level. Rescheduling is out of question. Nikama kusimamisha mat mzima usalimie mama yako kwa barabara.
Hehe was just looking to lead the witness into giving more details.
Anyway, aptitudes can be rescheduled EASILY since you’re usually a big bunch of entry level guys doing them. He’ll just get slotted into the next group.
I’ve rescheduled one in my past. No big deal.
Hiyo ya hiyo company ya muhindi you work for can be rescheduled easily. Serious companies do them once a year.
Serious firms give aptitude tests once a year and the preferred candidates are fresh graduates. If you postpone I doubt next year you will be a fresh graduate & chance may go.
Kama ni Deloitte gojea ya PWC.
.
Do you have a year to waste?
take the aptitude test if they cannot reschedule it
You might FAIL both tests if you take them on the same day!
Aptitude ni step 1. It’s the sieve that weeds out those with arithmetic and comprehension problems. You’ll be 200 interviewees and they need 20 or so. How come it’s not online and this is a “top” firm?
If I had to wait 1 year to do a university test, I’d do the test as a priority. The lecturer will most probably pass you seeing as you have waited for a long time (as long as you put in decent passable effort).
A bird in hand worth more than the one in the bush? (or something like that)
Ask the firm to reschedule your aptitude test or offer it online. If they don’t accept, let them put you on the list for the next one and seek other opportunities in the meantime. Do the Uni test now.
Its wise to never speak from a position of ignorance.
I’m stating a FACT-i have in the past rescheduled an aptitude test with safcom & was slotted in with the next group of guys who were coming in the next day.
You’re probably hundreds of graduates taking those tests & they’re usually done over several sessions spread over several days. You just need to call them in advance & ask them to slot you in a different session.
People need to stop viewing large companies like dictatorships that should be feared. They’re equally eager to get a competent employee onboard just as you are to land the job.
@Amos, just call that employer, whoever they’re & ask if moving the test to a different time (e.g morning to afte) is an option.
malisa exams :D:D kazi zitakuja kwa wingi
Some people here think the big companies are run by gods
