Simple answers :-
- Aviation Authority Red Tape and proceedures:-
Ministry Accident / Incident Inspectors and KAA must visit scene to document , inspect , photograph , gather forensic evidence and eliminate foul play or pilot negligence.
They then organize for removal of the Aircraft to a secure Bay where fiurther enquires take place and the Aircraft is Offloaded and made safe. - The Runaway is then inspected for damage , FOD and declared safe for normal operations.
JKIA has only 1 active Runaway …
A second was supposed to have been buit by now together with the proposed Greenfield Terminal …
Kindly ask Zakayo what became of that Chinese project … :D:D:D
** Your average Passenger / Cargo plane is not a Matatu that is just pushed or pulled off a Runaway without specialized equipment …
