Ivan Gazidis set to leave Arsenal for AC Milan. Why now?

Unai Emery is reinventing Arsenal on the pitch, but the man who set the wheels of change in motion – and who was at the heart of the last few seasons’ palace intrigue – is on his way out.

Arsene Wenger departed after nearly 22 seasons as manager in May. In August, Alisher Usmanov agreed to sell his 30 percent stake in the club to majority owner Stan Kroenke. And now Ivan Gazidis, the club’s chief executive since January 2009, is on the verge of leaving Arsenal to take a similar job at AC Milan.

This guy should fuck off kabisa. The club needed a new CEO. Gazidis and Wenger oversaw the slow decline of the club over the last few years.Arsenal moved from Highbury to a bigger stadium inorder to be able to compete with the big boys in Europe and challenge for major trophies.Instead the opposite happened, we are now playing the Thursday nights league against teams that you have to search on google to even know they exist.

We can only hope that Emery is going to turn things around and bring the club back to its glory days.

Maybe the lure of a bigger budget? It is hard kuwork for mtu mstingy especially in modern football, while Liverpool was spending £60m on a goalkeeper alone Emery had only £50m to buy new players. AC Milan on the other hand are desperate to challenge for the scudetto and the new owners dont mind spending a ton of money because they bought the club for a song, it is an exciting challenge especially koz Gatusso already has a strong team so kazi ni kureinforce hapa na pale and some st stardust

Welcome to the dilemma
