Kulikua nayo iliokuwa inaitwa Konka.

Enyewe 1080p should be minimum.
But some people don’t have the luxury of choice. To them it doesn’t matter.

Agreed. Let the common mwananchi at least enjoy a modern, affordable Smart TV upgrade. With Android TV to boot.

Most raia don’t even have affordable, reliable internet that can comfortably handle 1080p streaming, let alone 4k. Free to air local channels broadcast at about 500p.

kuna time nilikuwa nafanya gig na Citizen Tv, kuuliza why they don’t broadcast higher then 480p wakacheka tu. Yet we were using satellite broadcast and good digital encoders

Sahizi most households zilikuwa zinatumia kale katv kamgongo kanazungushiwa aerial kakitoa michele hata hakajui megapixels ni nini.

These TVs can’t even run Kodi smoothly. Too slow. Yesterday I had to put up with someone who sadly realised that he had to get another TV juu Kodi haifanyi vizuri kwa Vitron 42" yake. Telling him to get a Mi Box S was useless.
Screencasting is a nightmare. Ngai! The lag. Disconnecting frequently. Even freezing.

How sure are you that your someone knows how to use the technology properly? I mean, how can you tell for sure whether the problem was not with his Internet reliability ama the placement of the router? Ama whether some tweaking with app was necessary for it to work with the TV?

I used the vision plus 32 inch frameless for over 4 months some 9 weeks ago at Taveta. I was using the Telkom Kenya bundles. At first I was all regrets, kumbe shida ilikua network! When the network ain’t shitty hako kaTV kanafanya kazi kama bladifakin! It is true that the pictures won’t be comparable to Sony Bravia. But I dare say that some of these obscure brands will surprise you.
