It will take more than just a change in political leadership to move Kenya forward. A sort of idiocy has taken root in many of us. We are a nation of half-baked guys full of “ujanja” Even kids are learning that bad behavior. Honesty is very rare. Our mentality must change. We need to raise our game. We’ll struggle in the modern world if we remain backward. Improve then spread the improvement.
And most Kenyans need to be told that, the leadership is a reflection of the people. We need to change ourselves first.
Our ‘leaders’ have milked our ignorance for years. If you listen to 2 or more politicians talking, you’ll notice that they sound very alike. They’ve known what to say & how to say it for maximum effect. We need upright leaders. First we must be upright ourselves in order to elect upright people. We’ll be left behind if we don’t improve.
I like this kind of talk. Maybe someday with a change of mindset, paradigm shift, we will show the world that ours is the real paradise.
We better act quickly. People have become disillusioned by the “better future” that never arrives.
Our only enemy is tribalism…its the root of all our problems. Corruption, bad governance etal are just branches.
