It took a g3n0 to open the world eyes

It’s been almost 2 years since I last logged in here.
So many things have happened local and globally.
One thing that’s stands out is the huge awakening by the masses all over the globe.
Reminds me of how things were before the internet took over. ( yes there was such a time, mid 90s to late 2000s) Back then you’d finish high school and first thing was go for computer classes ,strange as it may sound .
Cyber cafes were coming up and the green mobile company was still suckling, Airtel then kencell still had some face.
Anyways back then we used to study the possible effects of globalization , internet and all these things we consider normal these days. They used to say the world would become a global village . No one had an idea social media would come and sweep away and become part of our day to day lives.
There was still a notion of two worlds, an internet world and reality . ( you guessed right , the fossils frustrating development , are to this stuck to this reasoning to date).
Fast forward , for a long time on this and many other forums , some of us who had already understood , used to called out the propaganda against mainly Muslims.
This propaganda was initially against the now east Europe which was the USSR in the 80s.
Those who understood the mind games could connect the similarities to local events.
To cut the long story short , as sad as it is, it took a geno, for the world to wake up.
All those years of Hollywood props and millions of $ invested , collapsed .
People now in the Information Age have become so informed , Muslims don’t even have to defend themselves against propaganda anymore .
Funny or sad bit is some populations , Africans being the worst affected by colonialism , are still entangled to the colonialists ways under disguise of religion.
Locally we have people who have been unable to comprehend that positive change is inevitable. They are still stuck in the 90s.

In this age of so much information , it’s even easier to get lost & possibly drown in misinformation as every Tom dick and harry has a smartphone and a voice and believe they know something.
Podcasts and influencers are the new avenues of confusion and propaganda.
