The Israeli Air Force (IAF) destroyed Hamas weapons factories and other terrorist targets inside Gaza after barrage of rockets were fired into southern Israel.
The targets belonging to the Islamic terror organization Hamas included weapons facilities and terrorist training camps. “Hamas Radio said the Israeli strikes hit two training camps,” the Israel Hayom newspaper reported Wednesday.
The rocket attacks were carried out by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, an Iran-funded terrorist group which enjoys the protection of Hamas in Gaza. “Some 16-18 rockets were fired into southern Israel, most of which were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system or landed in open fields,” the Israeli news website Ynetreported. “Military sources said the rockets were launched by the Islamic Jihad faction,” the outlet confirmed.
