I like following news on this organisation because, quite frankly, I am fascinated by it.

The organisation is nothing like the world has seen. When Osama struck Nairobi in 1998, for example, he instructed the bombers to minimise Kenyan casualties because he wasn’t at war with Africans - of course they failed to do this.

ISIS is a completely different kettle of fish. If you are not Sunni Muslim, well, they cut off your head. And worse than that, they are now devising the worst possible ways to kill humans. Frying them. Boiling. Drowning. Piling them in a car and then blowing it up with an anti-tank weapon. All captured in HD. Damn!

The crazy thing is, this barbarity is striking a cord around the world. I admit I have a growing fascination, even admiration, of the them. Why, you should ask?

Just yesterday they butchered about 38 British, French and German tourists in Tunisia. And this, by the way, was only one of at least 10 attacks in three continents by ISIS. Very sad, really.

But wasn’t the Nato bombing of Libya sad too? The support to rebels in Syria? Did they have to kill Gaddafi so brutally (this still makes me very, very angry as an African)? The senseless war in Iraq that has killed millions?

The truth is, the West (and the rest of us!) will in coming years pay very, very very very heavily for the kind of arrogance it keeps showing. Fresh from toppling Gaddafi, Europe and America have gone crazy trying to humiliate everybody else, from the Ruskis to the Rwandese to the Arabs to the Chinese . Which is why, truth be said, so many billions are silently celebrating those deaths in Tunisia, as sad as they are.

The brutal truth is that the devil himself has been unleashed from hell by the stupid West. When nice, middle-class or rich gals from around the world fly to Turkey to live in mud huts and become serial wives you know something has changed for ever.

The jini is out of the bottle. Amargeddon has begun.

We are living in interesting times.

There are a lot of conspiracy theories around isis all in all its true that what we are seeing and going to see is a new level of human history.its becoming increasingly chaotic.

Wakanyama I do not celebrate terrorists. I study them as a hobby. I mean, what drives a man to blow themselves up? To cut off another man’s head? I have an intellectual curiosity that makes me read very widely about them. Not support. So cooooooooooooooooooooooooooool down!

Everybody has a bone to pick with the Anglo Saxons for messing the lives of billions of people over the centuries.Given the right circumstances, few would hesitate to hit back.The Chinese pursuit of economic might is largely driven by painful memories of the past. Similarly Iran’s pursuit of Nuclear weapons is driven by the need to make up for humiliations suffered in the past. Africans too would need to have a lot of questions answered, despite the huge effort to format their memory.Worse still are the American Indians and the Aboriginals of Australia and Zealand, who lost their lands wholesale.

Cant remember the link but I remember reading somewhere that he instructed the terrorists to detonate their bomb in the embassy basement to minimise collateral damage to Kenyans. But when the guards (watchmen) refused to open the barrier near Ufundi House, wakailipulia hapo, hence the high Kenyan casualties. I’ll try to find the link.
