is Donald Trump a bad guy? A twisted anomaly of nature? No he isn’t because he has significant support. Humans tend to hold leaders responsible for having opinions as though those opinions are only shared by an evil minority. Which is not supported by Trump’s relatively good polling numbers. Outside of electoral fraud, if someone with negative or destructive opinions has a demonstrable support base, then he is representative of that constituency and not of himself. Remember Hitler didn’t run concentration camps by himself, shunned and cast out by the German public. Stalin didn’t single-handedly stop grain shipments to Ukraine, bereft of support from a righteous Soviet public. And Trump doesn’t say the things he says to empty auditoriums. People rarely walk out in disgust. So blame the people, the man is simply playing a song they like.
We have enough eccentric Kenyan and African leaders to think about before we go to American politics.

My take: We are seeing the dawn of a new radicalised world order. A few years ago, Trump would have been shouted out of the USA. Today he is appealing to a growing group of White purists who think their problems have been brought about by immigrants/ aliens. This extremist group is not different from the so called Jihadists. They have finally found a voice in Trump. Eventually this group will swell and reach a tipping point…
