If I were a broke guy like most elders here, my strategy would be a tiny apartment in Kilimani/lavington, a maisonette in Nairobi outskirts, and 2 acres with a 3 bedroom house ushago.
Apartment ni ya ukifanya biz Nairobi kufike usiku you can just sleep there na pia your college going kids can use it wakifika campus na kuanza life.
Maisonette apo Syokimau you’re only 15 minutes from town via SGR so the family is sorted.
Ushago of course you have a house that you sleep in alongside your two acres that you plant maize, beans, potatoes and other things that you occasionally send to your house in Nairobi bills zipungue.
