Can alcohol defile a man?
In and if itself… meaning, just by taking a sip of wine, do you sin?

If alcohol was Indeed a sin, Jesus would never have turned water into wine for the masses to drink
No. But drunkardness (habitually taking alcohol in excessive amounts) is a sin. Gluttony (habitually eating food in excess) by the way is a sin whose express castigation appears in the bible even before that against excessive consumption of alcohol.
Alcohol is not a sin in any way but doing anything in excess is a sin
Ecclesiastes 9:7: “Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for it is now that God favors what you do.”
If the G-man doesn’t sanction it and his son, him, they, them turned water into liquor, sioni unababaika nini
No it is not a sin because we know that Jesus drank…yet He was sinless.
Matthew 11:19. The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is justified by her deeds.”
Luke 7:34. The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’
Very much true.
Our regulations against alcohol in Church are informed by culture… not the Bible
Drinking alcohol is not a sin. Though drinking one too many will lead you to sin. Even God Himself loved a bit of wine when He walked this earth.
What is the main objective of that question? It’s mostly asked to justify drinking alcohol. If looking at a woman lustfully is equivalent to sex, and hate equivalent to murder, and covetousness equivalent to theft, then even a drop of wine/alcohol is equivalent to drinking 20litres of it.
Let’s just get rid of it and pursue 100% perfection.
Also you guys are not putting into consideration that there are wines without alcohol.
