So after flashing my phone’s ROM (Hercules task) , I realize I cant access net. Quick check on Uncle Google, I find out this issa common problem with mediameffi devices after flashing ROM. Sasa nkaanza kutafta suluhisho ya kufix iyo suluhisho. Mtu wangu, I’ve tried all possible solutions, bado IMEI iko invalid.
Solutions included, rooting the phone, unclocking bootloader and using various SP tools to reinstate the IMEI. No method has worked so far. Ive even deleted the NVRAM partition where the IMEI’s details is stored, replaced with NVRAM partition of another phone of the same model. No success.
I think am left with only one solution, flash the ROM again with another stock ROM, but I aint sure if the issue will be fixed. Tafasali wanakijiji saidieni.
You wrestled, butchered and ate a full buffalo all by yourself…sasa utashindwa kumeza mkia tu my fren?..
If I remember well there are two ways of rewriting a phone’s IMEI; through direct access to its Engineering mode by dialing a USSD code I cannot remember; or, through use of a certain tool whose name I cannot remember as well…google on the two.
Ive been to those my nigga, the tool is Tool Hero formerly Mobile Uncle, problem is when in engineering mode under connectivity, there is supposed to be a CDS button which I cant find in my phone
These problems will never end. After restoring IMEI using SP Maui Meta 3G, sasa phone haiaccess 4G na pia hakuna option ya 3G only, ni 2G/3G, inaonekana I’ll just have to build my own phone
