Interview

Majamaa leo nimeitwa interview flani.was so shaky but I managed to come through.Interviewer amenishow bado kuna two more interviews but akaniuliza how soon I can avail myself for the position?..Ni kama hizi statements mbili zinanichanganya:

  1. kuna two more interviews
  2. how soon I can avail myself for the position?

What do you make of this?

Mshow after the interviews

It means, if the other two are worse than you, you got the job.
If they are better than you, jipange my frien.

Stress zako zinaisha very soon. Hii job ni yako.

Kitu inanishangza ni kwamba mimi nimechapwa interview for 13 minutes only…hao wengine ni kama 20 minutes.

If you are working elsewhere at the moment, make sure you state your notice to quit as per your terms. kama ni 21 days say so, was a trick question to me a year ago…

you have no potential.

shit man! so am I fucked up in a nutshell?

Relax labda hao wengine walienda kujibu na story ambazo sio relevant

Chukua kazi kama yako before 8th.

Trick question. If you said you are working somewhere currently, and then you answered you are available immediately, then they know you are an ungrateful prick who will leave anytime without notice.

The 2nd qstn is standard for most interviews…they need to know for planning purposes in case you are picked.
The first seems just FYI. It not necessary to inform an interviewee such tho…or maybe psychological during negotiations to make u know there r other options incase u maintain a high price.
Anyway, always do your best and hope for the best…confidence, honesty n integrity weka mbele during interviews

Umeulizwa utapeana kunyi lini?

They ask that to gauge how responsible you are…ukiwaambia you can be available when called upon na wanajua uko job hapo umejiingiza.

Normally mtu huwaambia lazima upeane notice to your employer before you move

But context is key

Nothing big or so new in those queries. We ask and get asked those all the time.

On length of the interviews, this is relative but not key. Maybe the rest had vast experiences and more detailed cvs that openned up areas for discussion besides the usual script.

Were yu asked whether you had a question for the interviewer? what did you say?

Umeelewa kile jamaa amesema kweli?:eek::eek:

After you left they looked at each other laughing and said that is @MAD GUY U GUY

Best way to answer this question is just to say the truth. Doesnt matter what answer you give, there is a chance it will work against you.

[li]You are working somewhere, but are available immediately, then you are a deserter[/li][li]You are working somewhere and need to give x days notice, they you are not available to fill the immediate need.[/li][li]You are not working and available immediately, then you are inexperienced. Wewe kwisha[/li][li]You are not working and not available immediately, then wewe hauna haja na kazi.[/li][/ol]
Since you can not read the interviewer’s mind, wewe sema tu ukweli.

nothing confusing there, its standard protocol

  1. do you have any questions for us - to test your confidence levels and levels of engagement in group situations and also whether you have done any prior background research of the organization
  2. if we gave you the position, how soon can you be available - normally a trick question to find out more about your character (mostly if you are leaving another job, no one wants anyone who is likely to jump ship without properly handing over) - so if you are leaving another job and you say you are available immediately, you see how that can fuckyou up?
  3. we still have to conduct x number of interviews and we will get back to you regardless of the outcome - standard practice

hope this clears up your query
