Yesterday I called a company and I was surprised that their advert has been showing up on my social media feed since. It is quite annoying how my data and activity online is being phished for advertising and lawd knows what else.
I usually have my location turned on and im considering turning it off. Are there apps or ways to restrict communication/limiting data access of apps such that my private information isn’t being transmitted?

It’s very hard to escape profiling. Privacy is obsolete.
Even if you go cave man you will get ads of things your friends like. Yes, those guys who have your email, phone number, are FB friends etc.
It’s really annoying how people are irresponsible with others details. 100% of Skype and email spam I have received is because someone else was careless with my details. Guys install crapware on their phones that scans their contact list and sends ‘invites’ to crap etc. Shit am going off… Better stop here.
