A Kenyan man working in a South African Meat Processing factory has been arrested trying to sneak away with huge chunks of meat. Alex Njuguna had stashed meat in his trousers, shirt, cap and underwear. The executive Johannesburg Metro Police head Chris Ngcobo said that security guards noticed Njuguna’s abnormal walking patterns and suspected he was either suffering from a strange illness. Police approached Njuguna to offer help but he flatly refused, he then tried to take off but one chunk of meat fell down from his pockets, police wrestled Njuguna down only to find his body covered with huge chunks of beef. The police chief said “Kenyans have been a hell on earth in South Africa, they steal everything”, apart from being normal thieves they accompany their thieving antics with humor, he added, there was even one who had stashed money in her private parts sometimes back when I was a junior officer. The police Chief said they would liaise with immigration department to know whether Njuguna was in SA legally, then possibly deport him after serving a jail sentence.
