Interesting observations on 2022 Kenya elections (copied from elsewhere)

I have considered everything and this is my take:

1.Deadline for boundary review is around 2023 or 2021,so we go to the next elections with the current constituencies as they are.

2.Consider all supreme court rulings, invite all stakeholders and amend the elections act to seal loopholes, come up with a mechanism to replace commissioners and other staff and how election materials are procured. The role of police and government workers should also be explained.Conduct of campaign rallies should also be captured.

3.Enforce political parties law,the supreme court should give light on this and maybe we need a new registrar of political parties.

4.Come up with a law that says anyone or any media house is allowed to tally votes and collect evidence in an election, this should be clearly marked that it is not the official tally and the collected evidence should made public, all you need is officially notify the IEBC and put that notification in all print media too, that should be at most one month before election.Anyone interested in auditing should also notify in a similar way so that they do so within 72 hours after announcement of results by IEBC at any level.

5.A single voter register in both hard and soft copy, available in all polling stations.

6.All presidential candidates should cease being spokesperson or head of a group or community or stop acting in a manner to suggest so.

7.Finally no referendum be conducted until after 2022 elections,so people to talk on what they want but that will be actualized after 2022.
