I have been a regular partaker of slices from this lady who has a BF…now fiancee who proposed to her yesterday, they had agreed to abstain till marriage, so I guess I was the only one. I treated her well and with respect, though at the beginning and flirting stages she said there could be nothing more to us, though it hurt a bit I was cool with it and just maintained and played my role as required. She called me today for lunch to tell me the news of their engagement and I said congratulations, she looked at me for about 2 minutes and said its not what I was expecting you to say thenI asked what did you expect, told me she expected me to say no that she shouldn’t, that O want her kelele kadhaa hapo.
Reminded her it was her who said no relationship would come from what we had and that my feelings had changed.
Called me cold and a few other obscenities of how I have been using her, reminded her again that she had a BF the whole time and that I was just nice to her.
Asked to tell her something, anything that I have feelings for her to be mine because she is not sure that she wanted him to propose…kumbe she developed feelings somewhere along the way and I was too busy/blind to notice.
See, this is the kind of things that make me very apprehensive to this thing called dating and women.
