back in the village l used to hang around with granpa…most of the time…ata wakikunywa muratina l was there happy nikicheka cheka kama fala.
now l used to call all my granpa friends Guka…coz to me there all looked old…and Guka was a respectable name…
sasa there was this former chief used to visit granpa…and they would drink pamoja but after the guy went used to hear Granpa say…Ona tuma haha na Wamasuka (we were here with wamasuka)
sasa mimi got the impression his name is WAMASUKA
fast forward the former chief came na mimi niko pale pale nimekalia makei kando ya granpa…uyo msee akaniuliza na juu kila mtu unamuitanga Guka …unajuwa mimi naitwa baba nani?
mimi nikasema eeeeh najuwa
akaniuliza sema naitwa nani…
mimi na kiherehere yangu si unaitwa WAMASUKA
there was an akward silent for about a min ivi …
heard my granpa asked in a hush tone…Weeeh nani alikufunza ivo? na akanifukuza apo kwa wazee…nikaenda confused bila kujuwa nimefanya nini…
kumbe came to learn later that jina WAMASUKA is a nick name he was given when he was the Chief …that in order for a woman to be given assistant by him he used to dry fry her…alikuwa anakamua all ladies as payment …hence the name Wamasuka…(ladies used kujifunga shuka)
aki pole Wamasuka sikujuwa innocent mistake
Pole ya nini, these are the old men who institutionalized corruption, he deserved a more equitable punishment like castration for sleeping with other people’s wives.
Am not running away unfortunately you did not get the humor in my comment so there is no reason I should indulge you.I could be a killer but I find no joy in being a killer tafakari hayo.
