guys is it advisable to upgrade to marshmallow directly from android 5.0 without first of all updating other available updates such as 5.1?
I will never again update Android. I once did and the phone (LG G3) became sloooow, the SIM toolkit disappeared and it started randomly going off in the middle of calls. And then I discovered I could not downgrade…

After upgrade if you encounter such the factory reset. Since you are a techie root that fucking phone and use titanium backup to restore your apps n messages after the factory reset.

To downgrade look for the rom file and use the flash tool equivalent of your oem or device to flash it. Go to xda and you will find all those files and stop feeding us rumours

I tried resets a couple of times and that was it. I know next to nothing when it comes to phones. If a reset does not work am done. I sold the phone.

Luckily for you there are, currently, no other updates for the Note 2 x600 other than Marshmallow. It is official and over the air! Just go ahead and download the updates. Caution, it is quite a bit of updates so you better find WiFi Hotspot!
Just upgraded mine. It has consumed bundles worth KSH 350 and took about 90 minutes to download the package, parse and install.[ATTACH=full]35451[/ATTACH]

4G is really marvelous when it comes to downloading. As for browsing, the speed of loading the pages is actually faster. But you might not notice the difference.

The battery!!! Man! It’s 4040 mAh! Mine keeps me busy on the phone for more than 6 hours of constant browsing while, sometimes, listening to the music! Sometimes 8 hours! And the browsing includes visiting sites like Alibaba, Amazon and NASA!

You know why I won’t do that? I believe you know. But I will tell you anyways. Yesterday in our area the power was gone from 5 to 9.30 in the evening. Those were my longest hours of the week! Who knows when it will be gone again today? And I should risk my phone to drain power down to 10%, just to prove a triviality to you? Let’s just assume I lied.
