There is this space that is available in a storey building with 2 wings (Wing A- 360 sq meters and wing B 400 sq meters) in CBD

Roughly how much would it cost to partition and instal plumbing (toilet & bathroom) the space into 3 star hotel rooms of about 23 square meters??

Can you get the floor plan? An approximate rate would have to make a lot of assumptions.

23 sqm is just for the main room, we are providing for 6 sqm for toilet and bathroom

@4makind for a 3 star, a good guestimation is to work with around kes 40k per m2, =40000x 23=900k per room roughly.

Much appreciated @ a4architect . I assume that these costs include the costs of installing WC and Shower-box. We are proposing 23 sqm for the room and 6 sqm for the toilet/bathroom

@4makind yes they do. You will need your drawings quantified by a quantity surveyor then tendered by a contractor to get an exact cost estimate though, these are very basic estimates with a 20% margin of error.

D your estimates include construction costs? The building is already complete and the main works required are partitioning and plumbing. my working estimate including furniture was around 600k per room… Hapa kuna kazi

@4makind , yes, am estimating based on a 3 star hotel, which has to have somehow flamboyant interior partitioning and decor. A 2 Star, 1 star or kawaida hotel room will have much lower costs. The main building exterior walling, windows, and structure costs around half the cost. the other half is usually interior partitioning and finishes.
