In Memorium - Franco Luambo Makiadi (RIP)

@Lionheart

Hehehehe
One among the many immortal compositions of the great Maestro

The song was composed by Franco Luambo Makiadi and Ntesa Dalienst.

The “Sans Papier” Medley featuring “Le Grand Ninja” Bialu Madilu Multi-System that followed later after he passed on really captures the mood

Your last statement is a contradiction. Yondo sister is listed here, a woman, yet you say Jolie Detta was the only female band member

Initially , she was , until she departed for a stellar career singing with Mbenzu Bozi Boziana and L’Ochestre Anti-Choc …

Yondo Sister Kusala and Lokua Nyonyi ( ..the one famous for flashing her breasts at the fans ..!!) were Dancers.

Yondo Sister Kusala became a Vocalist after she left TPOK Jazz and started a solo career.

Thereafter , Nana Akumu and Baniel Bambo did long service for the band.

His style is effortless, rolling, groovy, melodic, layered, slinky…
somehow simultaneously laid-back and exhilarating.
