Lazima mtu uamzie chini but staying kwa basement ni choice yako. Kuna time ilifika nikaona ni kama nabebwa ujinga despite the good salary and perks. This was after seeing how washed out my older colleagues turned out after retirement.
Truth be told, corruption and pilferage ikasimamishwa kwa offices, the so-called side hustles mingi za office wakas zitakunywa maji. Most side hustles are held together by proceeds of crime at the work places.

Much depends on shule ulienda na mwalimu wako. I for example I am able to operate beyond the parochialism of govt, media, religion and education. I can literally survive anywhere. Juzi mmechagua Jambas but I know I can come out better than several others who voted for him.

I was a slave for 13 years. The last engagement was very lucrative; salary, perks, safari etc but in all that madness, kujipanga at a personal level ilikuwa ngori. Ile unaanzisha side hustle inakunywa maji coz kazi imekufunga huwezi supervise biashara in its infancy. Kitu inauzwa 1k wewe unainunua 1.5k coz huwezi fika ground. Lifestyle creep nayo. At some point, I had to quit to move in life. Can’t trade my current position for any job. I get to live life on my terms and have some control over my destiny.
