Impacted wisdom teeth

This are wisdom teeth that grow in an abnormal way(horizontally, tilted, backwards etc) mine is like that

Problem is. At one point it will necessitate remavol due to causing decay to the adjacent tooth(yangu imefika hapo). The cost is high and my medical cover doesn’t cover this honestly I thought it should. Am I alone ama kuna mtu ako na hii shida hii kijiji as we look forward to getting them extracted come next year (siwes jiharibia sikukuu niliona)

Time to schedule that dental surgery, sorry. Almost always guaranteed to happen when you inherit your dad’s big teeth and your mum’s small jaw. End result, the teeth don’t fit. Impaction pap!

Not me but a pal. Ni kitambo kidogo so I don’t recall the details. I do however believe that each case is unique and duration will vary. X-rays, for instance, will determine the kind of impaction you have (i.e the extent) and from these, the surgeon will be able to give you a rough estimate.

Hi doc. Mbona zangu zilingolewa bila surgery. 2 of them on both sides of the lower jaw after they cracked

mine ni hiyo horizontal and we had a meeting with my teeth and agreed zitakaa vivo hivyo.
used to ache sometime back nikaweka pilton

You do realize that they form a ‘cavity’ with the adjacent tooth ama pia ulikubali kubebana na toothpick ndio uchokonoe after every meal

had an impacted tooth once, went in for surgery na ikatolewa. was painful for the first 3 days so consider taking an off day or weekend. otherwise isorait!! the pain and recovery will depend on the duration of the surgery, the shorter, the better.
