IMF is only concerned about the interest Kenya will pay on that loan, they’re not concerned about the noise bonobos make online. They don’t care if Uhuru immediately diverts all of it to his offshore accounts, so long as the country pays it back. It’s even better if we default because they’ll extract profitable concessions from us. I think they’ll still extend the loan.

I hold the same sentiments
Its possible that all that shouting from Kenyan is confirmation to IMF that their plan against poor kenyans will work perfectly

The loan makes sense, but mahali kenyans wamefika they have realized that it won’t make a difference to wanjiku. So afadhali tunyimwe.
This is all a hoax.
What are we celebrating here? These guys have basically said, “wacha nione kama nitakupatia ama nikunyime”. This is just to get Kenyans off their backs for now and release the funds when we are distracted on something else. Something I almost guarantee the government will manufacture as a distraction.

We are borrowing to finance debts and not growth. The IMF knows they have us by the balls and they would rather this than China so paying off part off China’s debt shifts the paradigm influence to the United States rather than China who are reluctant to restructure their loans.

We don’t need this loan, gather the 2 billion stolen daily and backdate to 10 years, we are rich again. Infact its my prayer the IMF declines so that the govt thinks from within. How can a whole govt lack proper oversight to counties and only review their operations when friend turns foe? Shida iko hapa. You cant waste a nation for three years with BBI amongst other scandals then say we are broke.
