Good for you!

Fantastic insights from the horse’s mouth. Yes, we shall someday discover that Miguna had come back too fast and was unsettling JaKuonists and upstaging the big boss. So they recycled a trick they had used before. Ahsante.

One problem with this argument is that Miguna did not issue the passport to himself. The government issued it. Miguna will win this dispute in court anytime. The constitution is very clear in one line. Section 16…“A citizen by birth does not lose citizenship by acquiring citizenship of another country”. There can only be one way to interprete this line.

If you live in a glass house don’t throw stones- Peter Tosh

Nice theory. Jubilooters just looted an old ODM trick against a resurgent Miguna

At the time MM took up Canadian citizenship, Kenya did not have dual citizenship and so it was possible to lose your Kenyan Citizenship when you chose to be citizen of another country.
The question is whether MM put in a formal application to have dual citizenship once it became allowed under the new Constitution.
We will find out soon enough

Exactly that. It does not matter if you had lost your citizenship by acquiring a new one. That one line invalidates that. You cannot loose your citizenship if you were born in the country. You do not need to apply for anything. The only way to lose citizenship by birth is by denouncing it. Of which, there is a procedure to do so.

He accidentally stumbled upon it in the streets?

You think if he had he wouldn’t have said something already? We know that Miguna if he could, would tell us that he walked out of his mother’s womb, he wasn’t born - just so as not to give her credit for her labor! Why are you trying to invent excuses that don’t exist?

Let’s wait and see

I was correcting simiyu who stated that you couldn’t lose your citizenship.

Feel ya.

So just because ur born Kenyan why do u have to apply for a national id card? And why do u need to carry it always?

And if you can’t take blows brother don’t throw blows - Peter Tosh

Why you need an ID card. For many reasons. For example, Can a bank official identify you by looking at your face? I dont get your point as it relates to Miguna.

Nilitaja kajwang kwa thread ingine juzi in relation to the miguna passport. And i still hold that miguna probably has extra Kenyan passports. I believe there must be a kajwang network still strong in that ministry. How else would all these wazungus who work around raila some of them especially a mzungu woman videographer how has she been in Kenya working for so long and what is she shooting anyway?

Hio keja ya raila labda iko na thousands of passports zimewekwa kwa safe mahali.

Not a fan of Miguna or ODM but pia mimi sioni vile the government can win this were it to be contested in a court of law. But let’s wait and see.

But would the government really care so much? I think they already achieved what they wanted with him, which was to prevent him from continued incitement. He’ll be having enough problems to perform his self imposed General duties, especially if his case takes years to conclude.

Towards what purpose?
I thought there are procedures and documentation before pass ports are issued otherwise they remain pieces of paper.
