First of- Africans are so diverse, secondly the effects of slavery and colonization are underrated ! This has led to a majority of(mis)educated Africans like simiyu developing serious cases of inferiority complex.What the Europeans did to the Africans was a case of Arrested Development !In other words, they acted as the Gods and re-created the Africans in their own image! Once the Afrcan was thrown off tangent, the rest like they say is history.Around the said period that these inventions took place, save for Nicola Tesla and a few others,a majority of these inventions were by people of Anglo ancestry! One of these fine days try and read an article in one of our Sunday dailies - Nation to be specific on ‘people and politics’. You might get a clue of how stupid Kenyans are especially the so called educated ones…selfishness is what drives them. The only guy who is always mentioned in positive light is Matiba…every entity he took over prospered…when he left it collapsed…with such a government what will the populace do? You’ll start a business woe unto you if rivals s’one with political muscle…you’ll be forced out in the name of ‘willing buyer willing seller’ 
Procreation has got nothing to do with anything…as an individual living within the confines of a defined territory I have given up my right to rule myself to an entity and the role of that entity? Is simply to ensure that I am secure i.e. I can access a school, a job, a health facility, justice and I can move freely…with this environment the onus then falls upon me to improve myself from; being an amateur at a skill, mastering the skill, employing an individual who I will teach…then that individual can replicate the cycle. But in Africa the ones that got a chance to lead became thugs and not the Robin hood type but the Wanugu type…so who is benifitting? Their kin n kith and mistresses…where are we? For the lucky few ones in good jobs the unlucky ones in just jobs wondering what we could’ve been had they had a chance to pursue business or other vocations for others no jobs for the very unlucky ones they are part time stone throwers hired by the the thugs in armani suits.

If you read my post you will notice I say that Africans underachieve. We are capable of doing more if we change our thiking. The countries that have made advances did so. Very far from inferiority complex.
